- Why there is no contract
- There have never been contracts here. The tradition at this dojo is that a contract feels like trapping someone into training. We want you to train because you enjoy what we do, not because you signed something.
- Dropping in, and the weight room
- You can train on a drop-in basis rather than monthly. The mat fee is $30 a visit. Access to the weight room is on a case by case basis. Only available when there are classes. Included for unlimited members at no extra cost. Please see the schedule. Call for information and pricing.
- Uniform
- Students bring their own uniform. Black judo or karate uniforms are preferred. You do not need one to try a class - wear something you can move in. When you do want one, Kinji San Martial Arts Supply is at 3010 Avenue M, Brooklyn, NY 11210 (Avenue M at Nostrand Avenue), (718) 338-0529. We have no arrangement with them and make nothing on it — it is simply the shop our students use.
